While we are rather new to internet sales, we have been making jerky, raising cattle, poultry and growing our own produce for over 25 years. Our farm has been in the family for over 46 years. My wife and I are both 3rd generation Chefs by profession. Overwhelming response to our meats and jerky over many years has given us a push to bring our products on-line. WHAT MAKES OUR JERKY DIFFERENT?
You've probably tried cured meats and unless you have an acquired taste for them, you didn't like them much. You might have tried smoked meats and while they taste great, most find them to be quite "wet" or "moist" - and not very jerky-like. And you've most probably tried various types of jerky - much of which feels and tastes like shoe leather because it went through a standard dehydrator or oven process without complete temperature control, thus becoming too hard or too dry. WELL....our jerky-making process incorporates all 3 methods. We cure & marinate, smoke and dry our meats during production process. When we combine all processes, though it takes extra time to produce, the end result is that our jerky is very tasty, to say the least.
